What We Do

At G5 Studio Group we reach out to those seeking respite and solace. We use art and creativity to improve individuals and their wellbeing within out communities.

To date these sessions have been heavily subsidised by the two individuals that run the G5 Studio Group, artist and photographer Chris Manley and local artist Paul Owen.
"Together we have a developed successful models using art as a pathway to wellbeing" Following great feedback and success with these sessions the G5 Studio group is seeking funding to allow continuation of these effortsd and allow us to gain a wider reach in the community.

Developing courses and art sessions to help support individuals and building shared understanding between our members.

Art Sessions

The Bereaved

We work with a variety of specific groups from within the community such as the homeless, the bereaved, those suffering with Dementia, disabilities and deblilitating illnesses including mental health and stress issues. We also provide support for their carers.
Using creativity to help those participating to feel better and more comfortable within themselves, providing the opportunity to further develop and grow as they want to, within a supportive environment.

We have a partnership agreement with Compton Hospice’s Compassionate Communities to work with individuals who are endeavouring to come to terms with their grief. We have excellent feedback from this initiative. Currently referrals are by word of mouth, we do have partial sponsorship and are optimistic of additional funding, at his point we will promote publically.
